The First Theme Park in Istanbul and Turkey

"Istanbul Theme Park" Mix- Use Development

The proprietor of this development is a consortium of Turkish companies comprising MESA-KANTUR-AKDAŞ-ARTAŞ-ÖZTAŞ where MESA is acting as the leader of this consortium. The consortium acquired this property from TOKI – State Mass Housing Directorate.

The MESA Housing Industries Inc., (www.mesa.com.tr) was established in 1969. Totally changing the way mass housing in particular, was built in Turkey, MESA introduced an approach that considers people and buildings together with their surroundings, and over time became a name brand in housing. The "MESA Standard" is now referred to by  those who seek quality. Indeed, more than 70,000 homes bearing the MESA signature, are the product of an uncompromising approach toward quality. In the course of 42 years MESA has expanded its activities, from development, construction, contracting and industry to health, tourism and services sectors. MESA today employs some 5000 people and is active in 17 countries, worldwide.

The ARTAŞ-ÖZTAŞ group is composed of 15 group companies active in 3 major fields; developing housing projects, recreational and commercial facilities as well as operating hotels and similar condominiums, throughout Turkey, since 1977. The group is well known for their real estate development skills especially with their branded residential communities named "Avrupa Konutları" (www.avrupakonutlari.com) where the emphasis of the developments lies on pure customer satisfaction via construction quality, rapid handover, and well-structured after sales services. Their years of experience in multiple residential, commercial, retail and hospitality developments of more than 2,500,000 m2 of construction area provide ample asset to the consortium’s proficiency.

The KANTUR-AKDAŞ group is the technician of the consortium. Active in several metropolitan provinces of Turkey, the group is processing the urban solid wastes, transforming them into energy to be utilized for green and environmentally friendly projects (www.itcturkiye.com). Given that the site was once a city dump, the group will be utilizing its expertise in the physico-chemical evaluation and rehabilitation of the grounds. The members of the consortium have duely joined their resources and vast experiences for this "mega" development. Meticulously aiming for the best and the most appropriate solution, the Developer Consortium is keenly looking forward for the success of this planning process.
